After the pandemic of Covid-19, many have lost their jobs, are unable to find new jobs, low or no income for their survival live. Therefore, in women from B40 communities and an economically distressed communities would be trained in bakery, barista and entrepreneurship.
This training program funded by the APPGM-SDG will strengthen the women’s ability to not only confidently learn lifelong skills but also to help them compete in the marketplace and earn a dignified living for themselves and their household as a sustainability model.
The training covers the scope for proposal preparation, project preparation for physical requirements, project execution, monitoring and evaluation.
The solution provider of this project is Pertubuhan Perkhidmatan Sosial dan Pembangunan Komuniti Daerah Gombak, Selangor (PSPK). The project duration is five months with an allocation of RM19,150.00.
The main SDGs impacted through this solution project are Goal 1 – End poverty, Goal 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all, Goal 5 – Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, Goal 8 – Promote Sustained, Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth for all, Goal 10 – Reduce Inequality and Goal 17 – Strengthen Partnership for Sustainable Development.
