The purpose of this solution project is to maximize the use of land and natural resources through the development of Swiftlet Houses (RBW) in the affected areas around Kg Kelor, Pasir Mas, Kelantan.
The proposed development of RBW is one of the ways for local people to appreciate the natural resources in the local area, in fact they can also generate income for the people through one of the elements in agro-agriculture in Malaysia. The RBW construction project also opens up opportunities in creating a local learning center related to the swiftlet nest industry.
The project activities involve the construction of swiftlet houses and training in the management and operation of swiftlet houses.
The solution project funded by the APPGM-SDG widens and diversifies opportunities to overcome the rising cost of living, leveraging the economic potential to provide an alternative sustainable income for the people of Pasir Mas. This project can not only help the participants to generate more income, but also the construction of RBW can also produce downstream products canal.
The project is to benefit participants selected from Kg Kelor based on the selection of the ADUN/Parliament office based on their ability and desire to succeed in this project.
The solution provider of this project is Wan Damak Empire. The project duration is four months including construction of swiftlet house (RBW) and RBW Management Training with an allocation of RM50,000.00.
The main SDGs impacted through this solution project are Goal 1 – End poverty in all its forms everywhere and Goal 8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
